    Mary Boland’s Morning Sidekick Story!

    1. Q: How many years young are you and what is your living situation?
    1. 54. I live with my friend and his two children and two dogs.

    2. Q: What's the biggest challenge you faced in changing your morning routine? How have you dealt with it/got over it/are still dealing with it?
    2. It sometimes takes a conscious, like rolling a rock uphill or the last mile of a marathon “Yes, I will do this” to move forward. There are kids at my house 50% of the time. Their need for school lunches, etc… got in the way at first.

    3. Q: What time did you wake up and go to sleep before you started using the Morning Sidekick Journal, and what time do you wake up and sleep now?
    3. Before 10-6. Now 10-5:30

    4. Q: What did your mornings look like before you started using the Morning Sidekick Journal? What do your mornings look like now?
    4. Prior to the journal, I would sit on the couch and watch the news. Or hit snooze five times. Now… I meditate, write in my journal and do planks.

    5. Q: In one sentence, what's your favorite thing about the Morning Sidekick Journal?
    5. The tips and the tracking! I love the 1%

    6. Q: How long have you been using the Morning Sidekick Journal?
    6. About a month
    .

    7. Q: How has using the Morning Sidekick Journal and doing your morning routine impacted your life overall?
    7. I love this journal because it is easy to work with and because it’s a gentle reminder of the things that I know that I want to do but tend to skip/forget about/ignore during the busyness of the day. There’s a book called The One Thing by Gary Keller that is about roughly the same principle as the question “What is the most important thing for you to do today?” What is the one thing, that if you do it, will cause a number of other things to fall into place. This journal is a reminder of that one thing… daily. Sometimes it takes several days to GET to that one thing, but the journal keeps it top of mind. I look forward to the few minutes in the morning and the few minutes at night that I work with my journal. It’s a commitment to myself.
