Q. What happens after I finish my journal?
A. We created three add-ons for you to continue your journey -- The Morning Sidekick Journal Volumes 2, 3, and 4. These are available as a bundled add-on and contain additional content + tracking days up to 1 full year of morning routines.
 

Q. Is this for early risers only?
A. No, not at all! A lot of journal users are night owls and some even work night shifts. The journal is just as effective for them as anybody else as it helps you to start *every* day off with a proactive routine, regardless of wake-up time. In fact, one of our cofounders is a natural night owl and slept at 4am for 5 years!

Q. How long does it take to use?
A. The journal is designed to be very fast to fill out daily, at roughly 3-5 minutes a day.

Q. Is this a day / work planner?
A. No. The journal is built to help you plan your mornings every day and to start each day with purpose and intention. That being said, many of our users use their Morning Sidekick alongside other tools (like daily planners) because it is so quick to fill out.

Q. What size is the journal? What is it made out of?
A. The journal runs 8.5" tall, 5.8” wide, and 0.8” thick and fits easily in most bags.It is built with a beautifully crafted synthetic leather (100% vegan) cover that’s textured to the touch in a hearty, canvas-like material. The inside pages are a buttery smooth 100 GSM that are the perfect mix of thick enough to support fountain pens while still keeping the journal light and portable.

Q. Should I only build one habit at a time?
A. This is entirely dependent on you and your situation. If you want to take it one step at a time, starting with one is enough. If you have a burning passion inside you to build multiple habits at once, many people use multiple journals alongside one another.

Q. How many days long is the journal?
A. Each journal contains: - 34 pages of introductory reading (optional) - 66 days of content - 66 days of habit tracking This is based on new behavioral research in the European Journal of Social Psychology on how long it takes to successfully build a new habit

Loving the Morning sidekick journal

I have completed 2 of the Habit's nest gratitude journals and was so delighted I wanted to expand my morning practice so I purchased the Morning sidekick journal. I have been able to fully engage and change my mornings from a questionable daily start to one that feels fulfilling, organized and committed to making the most of my days. I still include my gratitude by writing on the left page but I find myself loving mornings again and including prayer and a meditation to make my morning complete. I have also purchased the morning meditation journal but will wait to do it next. Having too many journals to complete may overwhelm me so I prefer one at a time. Just love these products!!!

Morning Sidekick

This book has been so great for me. When I hit day 15 of the morning sidekick I ordered more of the sidekick journals. I was trying to make quick changes because achieving and meeting my goals have been so important to me that I will force myself to do this journal nightly. . I looked up many reviews on using these in combination & I can say that I’ve found which I should wait to start and what journals work good together. I never found any reviews on combination use of these journals. For me, I just graduated with my Master’s and I honestly have never had a routine. I’ve tried and tried and tried to build one over the years & just never could stick with it- which left me with a struggling 6 years of school. I can say I’ve tried many, many, many journals and ideas and ways to start and continue routines I’ve set up for myself and this book broke the mold. I wish I would have found these books sooner. I would like to get to say I have found ways to incorporate using the journals together that is starting to work for me. For instance, do I need to use this one at this time, etc. it’s become a learning process but they can most definitely be used together but as a perfectionist (I’m working on this) I noticed by using the 4 I have currently together I was trying to meet my objectives without concern for the books intentions.
